Samantha's Moleskine, almost done!

This morning before setting off to work, I finished my second entry in Samantha's Moleskine. It is a wonderful moleskine, it is very beautiful, if I do say so myself being a part of it.

The Handing Over of Laura's Moly

I got to meet the lovely and talented Anna Denise today! Here we are at Café de la Presse in San Francisco, where I am giving Laura's Moleskine to Anna.

Anna, I had so much fun! Come back anytime— Emma and Laura, if you find yourself in SF, let me know!

OK, done!

So, it just needs a little spray of protective varnish, and it is off to Laura this week.
Look out for it Laura!

I have almost finished

I have been thinking about this moleskine for over a week after staring at Ann-D's bees.
I believe I have almost finished. I hope that you are all happy to continue, and to send to me in Australia as well! Show you the finished result soon.
Oh, my desk is a mess! I am just pushing everything in my way to the end at the moment, I hope it doesn't fall off before I clean it up!

Laura's Moly has done the round!

Oh Laura!
I will be sending this off for you on Monday and your Moly will be home!
I hope you like it.

So I have started my response to all your wonderful work. Of course, I have drawn a beast!
You can't yet see my Kookaburra, but he is there.

Lucky me!

I got Emma's book today from Laura, and wow— the colours are just incredible! The reds are divine. I also got Marty's amazing book from Moly-X29. Seeing both of these Mollies in person is unbelievable. I'm going to be really busy.

Samantha's DONE!

I thought I should put it on the blog in it's finished state.
Sending it off to Anna on Monday, can't bear the idea of the post office and it's malfunctioning customer classification systems today.

My entry in Laura's Moleskine

I was nervous in the beginning, and couldn't figure out what to draw for the longest time.
Laura, I hope you like it!

Yay!

Guess what I got in the mail today?
I am so excited— Laura's molly is even more beautiful in person!
Now, what to do...

DONE!

My man asked me today what I "get" for doing a Moleskine exchange.
Dear me, he was grumpy yesterday!
Done! I have finished my illustration in Anna Denise's Moleskine, and am ready to send it off to the next person.

in less than 12 hours...

I received it today, thought about it and... I am hard at work on Anna Denise's Moleskine.

Zaza's entry Finished

I just mailed my Moleskine off to Anna Denise this afternoon—
can't wait to see what will be done with it!

I would love it if everyone could write their names, the materials used and the date you finished your entry on the back of your piece. Thanks :)

Some ink

So I decided that I'm against having a theme for my book— I'd rather leave the pages open to each artist's imagination, and I am hoping the artwork will flow into each other.

I couldn't resist...
